We are also the leading agency in providing shooting for individual guns and small groups who want to enjoy a day’s shooting but don’t have a full team.

In-field Instruction
There are many factors, which need to be taken into consideration whilst shooting game, apart from the obvious safety factors, there is selection of correct bird, speeds and height of bird, technique, mount, attitude and the added pressure of other people watching. The list becomes endless and everyone has a different problem to overcome. Having a dedicated instructor provides peace of mind and feedback from our clients suggests that their proficiency advanced far faster with In-field instruction.

We specialise in shooting parties coming from all over the world. We can accommodate individuals and full shooting teams who want to come to the UK for Wing Shooting for 1 day or 1 week. More than a century has passed since Edwin John Churchill set up his gunmaking workshop in London in 1891, laying the foundations of a name that now sees E.J.Churchill as one of the world’s finest gunmakers, E.J.Churchill is thriving today! Led by passionate sportsman, it remains the largest gunmaker in British hands.
The style, elegance, reliability and technical innovation of Churchill guns make them the natural choice for the keen shot. Our gunroom has an excellent stock of new and second hand shotguns and rifles for sale. In addition to the full range of E.J.Churchill guns we stock a wide selection of other English guns. We are dealers for AYA, Berretta, Blazer, Browning, Perazzi and others and also stock air rifles.
We are also able to offer gun fits, servicing and repairs, gun storage, gun hire, gun carriage and game cartridges.

Set in the heart of the rolling Chilterns, less than 30 miles from central London, the E.J.Churchill Shooting Ground has established a reputation for outstanding shooting facilities with friendly and highly professional staff. The only shooting ground to have been voted 4 times the ‘Best Shooting Ground in the UK’ at the industry awards.
E.J.Churchill is one of the few grounds that cater for both game and clay disciplines and we welcome old and young, novice and experienced alike, whether for fun, practice or tuition.
We are the only shooting business in the U.K. that has its own gunmaking facility, shooting ground, corporate entertainment company and sporting agency. This makes E.J.Churchill unique and enables us to cater for all our clients’ sporting needs under one roof. Our home is the West Wycombe Estate, just outside London, seat of the Dashwood family.

Instruction: The E.J.Churchill Shooting Ground has a dedicated team of professional instructors, including extremely experienced game shots as well as world class competitive clay shots. We cater for all levels from the complete novice to the very experienced shot.
Sporting Rounds: Come and enjoy caddied rounds throughout the ground, six days a week on our sporting, skeet and other disciplines.
Young Guns’ Academy: Our Young Guns’ Academy starts from the age of nine upwards. Specialising in instruction and gun safety with our range of small bore guns, we also provide coaching for numerous schools and host the British Schools’ Championship.
Ladies Days: Specific practice rounds and simulated game days are tailored for ladies.
Events and Competitions: We hold many events such as the largest European competition “The Classic”, monthly registered CPSA competitions, late night shooting, grouse and high pheasant masterclasses, various British Forces shoots, Charity events and many more …
