Situated in the wild expanses of Namibia, Aru Game Lodges offer the discerning hunter the experience of a lifetime. Aru Game Lodges are operated from two stunning and well-established game farms, namely Veronica and Kalakwa. Covering a privately owned area in excess of 65,000 acres, the farms, diverse in landscape and ecosystems, offer an unforgettable and truly African hunting experience.
Aru sets itself apart by offering both rifle and bow hunting expeditions. Carefully constructed hides and blinds at strategic locations provide an outstanding opportunity for bow hunters to experience animals at close range, and well-designed target ranges are also available on both farms.
Hunters will hunt under the supervision of a trained professional hunter, whose expertise and experience will both guide and inspire the trophy hunter. The owners of Aru treasure the principle of fair chase, and hunts are conducted by stalking on foot, allowing you to truly experience the thrill of Africa first hand.
Aru has also recently acquired three concession areas that now enable them to offer the trophy hunter elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, leopard, and other exotics such as black-faced impala, reedbuck, lechwe, roan and sable, in addition to the range of plains game already available.
These concessions are situated in the Caprivi, Ruacana and Kaokoland. With the vast African landscape as its backdrop, and the opportunity to come face to face with your prey, any hunting expedition at Aru is unique and unforgettable. The lodges are luxurious and fully equipped, offering five-course buffet meals, a fully equipped gym, sauna and swimming pool.
In addition to these facilities, the owners of Aru are proud to be able to offer access to more secluded and often unexplored areas of Namibia, through their association with Namibia Country Lodges.
Broaden your hunting experience by exploring the Twyfelfontien area of Damaraland, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and come face to face with ancient Bushman paintings and rock engravings, as well as geographic features such as the Organ Pipes and Petrified Forest. On your way to the Sossusvlei, take a scenic drive to the settlement of Solitaire, with its general dealer that still offers you a glimpse of a bygone era. In Koakaland you can meet the Himba people, who have managed to retain their ethnic and cultural individuality into the 21st century.
Come and explore Namibia while you hunt.
